BOTOX® Cosmetic in Los Angeles, CASERVING BEVERLY HILLS AND LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
Very few procedures have transformed cosmetic and anti-aging medicine as dramatically as BOTOX® Cosmetic. This minimally invasive facial rejuvenation procedure reverses the signs of aging by temporarily improving the appearance of facial wrinkles.
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a great option if you experience mild to moderate facial aging and would prefer to avoid the extensive plastic surgery associated with a facelift. The best way to determine whether BOTOX® Cosmetic is right for you is to speak with Dr. Andre Berger in person. Please call 310.695.1051 today to schedule a consultation at our Beverly Hills office.
How BOTOX® Cosmetic Works
Your muscles contract whenever you smile, frown, or make any other facial expression. Through this constant muscle movement, the skin becomes less elastic and draws together, resulting in the formation of wrinkles and frown lines.
When BOTOX® Cosmetic is injected into your facial region, it blocks your nerve impulses from activating the muscle contractions that cause wrinkles to develop. As a result, your skin will appear relaxed and smoother.
BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments are fast and virtually painless. The procedure only takes about 10 to 15 minutes, and there is virtually no recovery time.
Most patients usually see an improvement in the appearance of wrinkles within three to five days, although results will vary. The effects of your BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment last approximately three to five months. With repeated treatment, you can see longer-lasting effects.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you stop Botox® once you start?
Yes, you can absolutely stop Botox® treatment after you start. Just keep in mind that Botox® stays active in the treated muscles for about 2.5 to 4 months following your appointment. Make sure to wait the entirety of those four months before starting a new treatment plan with an alternative injectable treatment.
Can Botox® lift your eyebrows?
Yes, a special technique can be used to help Botox® lift your eyebrows. By injecting Botox® into the outer tail of the eyebrow, the lateral eyebrow will subtly lift and the upper eyelid may also be lifted a bit with it, revealing a larger portion of the eyelid than before.
At what age should you start getting Botox®?
As with most cosmetic procedures, there is no timeline associated with when you should undergo which procedures. While the average age of women we see getting Botox® is between 35 and 65 years old, we have seen patients as young as their early 20s and as mature as their late 70s receiving Botox® treatments. Ask Dr. Berger if Botox® is right for you at your one-on-one consultation.
What are the main areas for Botox® injections?
The most popular areas for patients to receive Botox® are around the brows, in the forehead, and around the eyes to treat frown lines, crow’s feet and deep lines across the forehead. Botox® has also been used to treat chronic conditions such as migraine headaches and TMJ.
Should you get Botox® before wrinkles?
A recent trend that has grown popular with our younger patients is receiving Botox® as a preventative treatment for wrinkles. Botox® works by relaxing the muscles in the treated areas, so repeated movements are stopped, and wrinkles are reduced. Ask Dr. Berger if Botox® for wrinkle prevention is right for you at your one-on-one consultation.
