Learn more about our liposuction offers

First off, let’s just agree on the fact that liposuction is not a weight loss treatment; we think of it as a body shaping treatment. Although it literally is fat removal, lipo is not designed for people who are looking to lose 25 pounds and over, but for those who wish to improve the aesthetics of their body, shape & contour.

How do you prep for a lipo procedure – many people wonder?

Firstly, it is crucial to drink lots of fluid as your body will need to be really well hydrated when you get to the doctor’s office. Water, fresh whole foods – raw if you can –  and make sure to take in vital nutrients and Omega 3 fatty acids. We usually ask our patients to ingest anti inflammatory foods and natural supplements such as Kprex AI and Bromelaine and anti-bruising supplements suchas Arnica Montana, and Vitamin K for up to a week before the procedure.

By all means, stay away from processed foods, animal fat, high calorie meals, alcohol, cigarettes and aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Make sure you are off any medication that would cause you to bruise for at least a week or two. The idea is to reduce most potential inflammation naturally caused by the procedure.

But the most important thing related to diet actually comes after your procedure. In order to optimize the results of your liposuction, you’ve got try to lose another 5-10 percent of body weight in the following months.

And guess what? We can support you in the process.
