Are Your Jeans a Cellulite Treatment?

Posted March 18, 2013 in Uncategorized

Cellulite Treatment Beverly HillsMost women suffer from cellulite and all of them hate it. This pesky dimpling skin can make women feel uncomfortable, self-conscious and embarrassed. Over the years we’ve seen many different cellulite treatments hit the market, but these new cellulite-fighting jeans are a first for us. Apparently the jean’s fibers are embedded with special moisturizers that supposedly fight cellulite.

The principle behind these jeans is simple: some women are too busy to moisturize. These jeans are designed to do it for you. The jeans are cut tight and as your legs rub against the fabric various substances like caffeine, shea butter and retinol are released onto the skin. According to a test performed by Wrangler (the jean’s manufacturer) a majority of women noticed improvement in the appearance of their thighs after several weeks of wear. The one big drawback though is that these jeans must be worn every day to experience the best results.

Washing the jeans can also be a bit tricky. The moisturizing treatment can come off in the wash, so limited washing is recommended.  A bottle of refill treatment can be purchased separately to spray on the inside of the jeans once the treatment wears off.

Do these cellulite-fighting jeans really work? We’re not sure, but if you hate cellulite and don’t want to wear the same dirty jeans day after day, we can help. At Rejuvalife we offer a variety of cellulite treatments in our offices and best of all you can wear whatever jeans, skirts of bikini bottoms you want and still look great. Let’s take a look at a few of our cellulite treatment options:

Cellulaze

Cellulaze doesn’t just fight cellulite from the outside; it attacks the actual structure of the problem during a two hour non-invasive treatment. Tiny incisions are made the skin affected by cellulite through which a small laser fiber is inserted. The laser fiber releases the fibrous bands that cause dimpling in the skin and levels out fat bumps. The procedure is performed in our offices and most patients can return to work the very next day. This FDA approved treatment is the most advanced method of cellulite reduction on the market today.

Carboxytherapy

Carboxytherapy uses carbon dioxide gas to target and reduce cellulite without surgery. It is a recommended option for patients that want to reduce excess fat and cellulite on various places including the buttocks, stomach, thighs, hips and chin. CO2 is injected under the skin and increases circulation and blood flow. Increased oxygen to the cells helps to release trapped fluid leading to less fat and firmer skin.

If you are tired of cellulite, schedule an appointment and see what we can do for you today. We offer a wide variety of cellulite treatments (Cellulaze and Carboxytherapy are just a few) and would love to help you look your best whatever pants you choose to wear.
