A threadlift is a minimally invasive facial rejuvenation procedure that provides immediate results and does not involve any general anesthesia. The threadlift in Beverly Hills continues to grow in popularity due to its minimally invasive nature; and the ability for patients to recover quickly and return to regular activity, but what can threadlifts do? Threadlifts can provide a generous amount of correction and will continue to long after your treatment.
What Do Thread Lifts Treat?
Thread lifts are used to enhance the facial contours by lifting and repositioning the deeper layers of the skin. Dr. Andre Berger, Beverly Hills cosmetic surgeon, uses thread lifts to improve the appearance of moderate to severe folds and wrinkles on the midface and cheeks. For example, marionette lines or nasolabial folds can be softened by positioning the threads to lift the cheeks. By lifting the cheeks, you can create more volume at the cheekbone area while also reducing the depth of the folds at sides of the mouth.
How Long Do Threadlift Results Last?
There are two types of thread lifts used at Rejuvalife Vitality Institute: The Silhouette Instalift and Novathreads. The Silhouette Instalift can last from 1-2 years and Novathreads last between 6 & 12 months. After the threads dissolve, space is filled with collagen produced by your body because of the natural healing process triggered by the placing the threads. This is what provides the long-lasting results after the threads are no longer there to provide support.
How are the Threads Placed?
After your initial consultation with Dr. Berger in which you discuss your concerns and goals, Dr. Berger will begin the treatment by marking the pre-determined treatment areas. To insert the threads, Dr. Berger will use either needle or cannula to gently insert the threads in the deeper layers of facial tissue to lift the skin. Each type has its own unique way of creating structure in the tissue, the Instalift threads use ‘bidirectional cones’ that are absorbed along with the threads, and the Novathreads have tiny points that grab onto the tissue to provide the necessary lift. In general, treatments only take about 45 minutes and do not require downtime. This is easily called a nonsurgical facelift in Beverly Hills.
